Chief Executive Officer of Anesthesia for Surgery and Obstetrics, Inc. and Co-Founder of Sierra Pacific Anesthesia Regional Consortium, LLC. Dr. Hoover served as Anesthesiology Department Head aboard the USS Kittyhawk during Operation Enduring Freedom immediately following the attacks of 9/11. After a distinguished military career, he transitioned to independent clinical practice and currently serves as Chief of Anesthesia Services for two high-acuity rural hospitals in Central California and as primary attending anesthetist at an inner-city hospital in Southern California. Over his career, he has performed over 10,000 anesthetics. From 2010-2014 he served as adjunct professor at California State University, Fresno, teaching Advanced Pathophysiology at the graduate school, and Health Policy for the Doctoral Program. Dr. Hoover has a Baccalaureate of Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, a Masters of Science from Georgetown University, and he has earned his Clinical Doctorate from Virginia Commonwealth University.
