My dad gave his MacBook Pro to my sister after I replaced the hard drive cable because he already purchased a new computer. The screwdriver and cable took a long time to come from Amazon, so my dad decided to buy a new laptop for his finances instead of waiting. At the same time, I wanted to get a new hard drive to hackintosh my system, so I bought an SSD and put it in my sister's MacBook Pro (the one my dad used to use), and I put the old Mac hard drive in my computer.
NOTE: YOU NEED A TORX T6 SCREWDRIVER
