Today, too many of America’s children—both inside and outside the school system and child welfare system—are growing up without a father in their lives. At least 65% of children placed into the child welfare system were not living with their birth fathers at the time of placement, and even after placement their fathers and paternal relatives are not involved in planning their cases. These fathers and paternal relatives can be a great, untapped resource for children.

The research is clear, fathers are vital to the overall success and well-being of their children.  A father’s presence in their child’s life makes a positive difference in social, emotional and academic development and success. However, today more American children are growing up in homes without their biological father. 

Artistic, Design and Technology thinking - as a term has evolved over the past 20 years through numerous academics, practitioners, consultants and authors. The premise is that by understanding the tools and methods that designers use to tackle problems, ideate, and create solutions, organizations will be better able to energize their organization and take innovation to a higher level.
