Hello! My name is Nabil Khalid and I am currently working on designing battery-less wireless sensors for future IoT applications.
I graduated from Air University in 2013 with Bachelors in Electrical Engineering. My majors were Telecommunications, RF/Microwave and RADARs. My final year project was to design a 3D Imaging RADAR operating in the ISM band.
Following my undergrad, I worked as a Design Engineer at RWR Pvt. Ltd, in RF/Microwave department until the end of 2014. My focus was on designing passive and active microwave circuits.
After gaining some industrial experience, I returned to academia for further studies. I started my M.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Koc University in 2015. Along with that, I worked in Next-generation and Wireless Communications Laboratory (NWCL) as a Research Assistant and also a Teaching Assistant for several courses. My research was focused on developing the physical layer design of Terahertz (THz) band wireless communications for Next-generation wireless networks.
This website contains some of my academic, industrial and personal experiences.
