By using sources that are either reliable or created by the state government in which facts, statistics, and reports of past and present judicial matters are described objectively, I will compile data and discuss my own opinions. Through this I will begin to formulate a broader understanding of the Texas legislature as a whole. The resources will be mostly free online, at the tip of a finger. The other crucial resource will be time. Analysis and conclusions drawn from a wide understanding of facts is expected to take a hearty amount of time. Researching with this higher level thinking requires a substantial amount of reading between the lines. None of the answers I am looking for will be written out for me.
This original work sets the groundwork going forward for my current final product idea; A website synthesizing all the information and more that I have gained in this research into an interactive and informational website with educational purposes for users. It will also aid me in the further in-depth learning on my career and all that it entails. In the career of any lawyer, a critical understanding of how to research at the highest level must be maintained. In order to start developing this skill, I am undertaking my own research incentives-- not for one specific case, but instead of a number of them.
