Since I have decided to research evidence-- there is a pivotal question that I needed to answer-- to look into the Texas Rules of Evidence or the Federal Rules of Evidence. After sending my product proposal and calendar to my mentor, he suggested I look into this concept (state vs. federal), since they are both different. I think I have decided that federal evidence would be more applicable to me right now, although learning the state rules as thoroughly as possible would be beneficial as well, but federal laws apply on a national level, no matter where I might happen to be located in the United States going forward into my future. In my proposal I slightly touched on this, with a section of my website going to be dedicated to the differences between state, federal, and some international laws of evidence. I have my second mentor visit tomorrow (2/7) and I’m really excited to hear and learn from my mentor on this subject!
