This process should not only be developed and designed with primary input from the mentorship, but it is also exceptionally more in-depth than the original work of the first semester. During my first mentor visit, we discussed several ideas that could launch off my previous product idea; an interactive and informative website about the processes of a criminal trial. After discussion, we realized that this was had a few more logical and logistical hoops to jump through that would be achievable. Therefore, I decided to research more into more specific areas of the field. Some of the potential concepts were jury selection, sentencing, analysis of fact patterns and psychological or sociological trends of a criminal. However, what I think I am going to focus on is evidence. A lot of public knowledge on this topic is false, and if I really do want to pursue a career in the field of any law, it is important to master and completely understand the types of evidence and all that goes along with it.
