From the set-up to the social mingling, I felt very prepared and satisfied, and even though I was nervous someone might ask a question I didn’t have know how to answer. I definitely surprised myself in a way, because when I was in the thick of describing the field to someone, I could tell my research had been worthwhile. Other than that, not much has been going on this week. With the showcase on Wednesday, I had some band commitments on the following Thursday and Friday. I was actually a member of the 5A Wind Ensemble, and it was truly a once in a life experience. Recently, I have just sent out my follow-up message after my first Mentor Visit from Monday this past week. I hesitated sending this email for awhile because of how obviously busy I have been. For my mentor, I have been contemplating some product ideas. Next time we meet, I will show him a decision with a product calendar. This is always an interesting experience because it’s difficult narrowing down exactly what I want to focus on, since all of it is intriguing to me.
