In my first and most recent interview, both attorneys expressed how they had some of their best legal experience and trial practice by working as a Public Defender or a prosecutor. I know these are some of the busiest people with even higher workloads than I have ever encountered before, so that is why I originally hesitated in contacting someone from that office. However, I also realize after having experienced the way an information interaction actually goes down, I’m sure someone would be willing. That is going to be next focus, all the while trying not to drown in all the other work that is being thrown on top of me. In other news, the annual ISM field trip to UNT has been cancelled due to new policies about minors. This is really bummer, because I was really looking forward to it, but I just have to keep reminding myself that everything happens for a reason!
