Some of these adults have taken forever to reply, or simply not replied at all. I can imagine it is tough to manage an entire career by yourself, and that’s before any kid gets thrown into the picture. To be truthful, the thought of not getting a reply back can be kind of scary. I have no idea how persistent I should be expected to be, so it’s uncharted territory. The man I asked to be my mentor, Mr. Sandel of Whalen Law Firm, actually mentored someone last year for a different high school in Frisco. This is promising, so I am still hopeful. Beyond that, this week has been somewhat tame. We are beginning to start preparations for the Research Showcase, with designs for our display board, invite, and more all being due. Although it’s intimidating, I am looking forward to that night to mingle and present my work to others
