I am finding that each interview I do is becoming more and more different, because I feel more comfortable going off the script of my prepared questions. I’m able to interact with the professional more and maintain a flow with questions sparked from all the answers they are giving me. For my next and final informational interview, I want to focus on the office of the Defense Attorney. In many of my interviews so far, they have recommended getting a start in some sort of government work like that. Even if they didn’t articulate an actual recommendation, the advice is hinted at since most all of them got their own start in a similar position. My first interviewee said a few things along the same line! Overall, I’m feeling really to move onto the next stage: mentorship. Although I am very excited and eager to push on into that phase, I am still enjoying the hands on research.
