Harrison Culbreth is an up-and-coming performer, choreographer, master teacher, director, and producer based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. He is a highly accomplished tap artist who has quickly developed his own up-beat, energetic, and distinctive tap style. With a unique blend of heart, drive and admiration for the art, Harrison has become a highly qualified tap instructor throughout the country. Harrison loves to educate and challenge aspiring tappers to reach their fullest potential. He has taught and choreographed top scoring routines at several of the nation’s Top 50 studios, as ranked by Dancer Magazine.
While competing, Harrison completed three consecutive undefeated senior solo seasons before graduating high school. Harrison currently attends college at High Point University and is majoring in Electronic Digital Media and minoring in Theatre & Dance in hopes to pursue his first true love, dance. Most recently, Harrison has had the honor of joining the Applause Talent staff, one of the biggest competition tours in the country. He travels the eastern part of the country co-directing, announcing, teaching and creating choreography for the events.
Harrison has been taught and mentored for over a decade by innovative tap artist David Mann. The highlight of David’s career to date was being named “Teacher of the Year” by Dancer Magazine. Harrison has assisted D Mann at several top industry Conventions and co-choreographed opening routines for numerous National events throughout the nation.
