The most significant event of the week for me was the confirmation of all five of my interviews. Although I have only completed two interviews, I already had two more interviews scheduled, and on Monday, I set the date and time for my fifth interview. If everything goes as planned, I will have completed all five of my interviews by October 27th; I may even have six as one of the connections I made at the business symposium gave me the name of a neurosurgeon, with whom I am in the process of scheduling an interview.

Another important event of the week was Dr. Lega reaching out to me after our interview in order to connect me with a person who works in his lab, Ms. Seger. She offered to help me by setting me up on Matlab and providing me with data to facilitate my research for my original work and final product. I am trying to set up a time to meet with her as the knowledge I will gain from learning about the full research process is necessary for my success in the task. At this point, I have only conducted small research papers; however, this year I will need to complete an entire paper with an abstract and data from trials, so meeting with Ms. Seger is going to be beneficial to my goals for the year.
