The speech is one of the most stressful jobs for me as I have a fear of public speaking, and in this speech I have to cover everything I have done for the entire year. While I am comfortable with the material I am discussing in the speech, the idea of giving the speech still makes me incredibly nervous. I know that ultimately I have done everything I can possibly do to prepare for the speech, yet the idea of actually delivering it remains intimidating. Regardless, I am excited for the opportunity to share everything I have done throughout my ISM journey as it has been an exciting and challenging journey. I am hoping that through this speech I will be able to teach people all that I have learned this year as well as show the value of the ISM program. As the year is coming to a close I am seeing the true extent of the value of the program realizing all that I have achieved and the opportunities I now have from being in ISM. There are more opportunities than I could have imagined making each of the challenges I faced worth it.
