In order to do so, I first had to break down and analyze what Dr. Lega and I discussed at the visit in the form of a mentor visit assessment. From this, I identified the most important areas of research for the formation of the background necessary to create an accurate and thorough case study. I will take that research to synthesize the introduction portion of the case study. The mentor visit assessment also provided me with an outlet to look at how I can utilize all of the different components I have with the skills Dr. Lega is helping me to develop in order to create a case study which will allow me not only to further my knowledge and understanding in the field of neurosurgery but also to help provide a foundation for future developments in the discipline. After completing my mentor visit assessment, I took what I looked at and began to apply that knowledge to my analysis of the patient file for the case study. I worked on interpreting the patient's EEGs as well as understanding the general patient file.
