During my mentor visit, I received the opportunity to sit in on a lecture series with the keynote speaker of Dr. Matthew Howard. The experience was an incredible opportunity as I received exposure to several neurological studies that I would never have had the opportunity to hear about prior to my time in ISM. I also had the opportunity to discuss my final product with Dr. Lega during the visit. He provided me with more guidance about my product making several notes about key points I need to ensure I address fully in my introduction in order to provide enough background for the readers of the case study. Now I have the opportunity to continue my work and receive Dr. Lega's feedback when I am finished with each portion of the end result. I am hoping to finish the introduction this week so that I can move on to the case description portion of the case study in which I can bring in all of the factors which I have been looking at in my overview of the patient's file. I want to progress as far as possible so that I know that I have plenty of time to edit and refine my final product
