I also met with my mentor to discuss my progress on my new final product. We talked about the organization of the paper, and he suggested the use of subheadings to make it easier to follow. I made the adjustments he suggested, and I am pleased with how the paper is shaping up. I am at the point where I am now finalizing the rough draft to send to Dr. Lega. The project has presented several obstacles; however, those challenges have made me look at the situations from different perspectives in order to work around them, making my research and analytical skills stronger. After working through this project under the guidance of my mentor, a process which I will continue in the coming week for editing, I feel more confident in my abilities and am becoming more eager to see what the future will hold for me. I know that the knowledge and skills I am gaining will continue to assist me in the future.
