I added a great deal to my introduction to provide the reader with a more thorough background knowledge of the topics addressed in the case study as well as just an understanding of the anatomy of the brain and how the organ functions. It was interesting because I had to pull together several sources, looking at what information would be the most beneficial to developing a comprehensive foundation for the readers of the case study. I enjoyed looking at several different sources and seeing how each author's viewpoints and analyses differed.
I also began working on the case report portion of the case study by pulling the background information addressed in the patient's file because when addressing a case, the person's medical history is one of the most important factors to consider in the process of diagnosis and treatment. I still have a lot of work to do on this section, being sure to elaborate on all aspects to ensure the most insightful understanding I am capable of providing.
