Faith hope love.
Faith it till you make it, faith sees the invisible and believes the unbelievable. Hope says God can, Love conquers all- I love all of these quotes and sayings!
What does faith, hope and love mean to you? For me, it means that I can believe in something I cannot see, but has proved to be real in my life. Hope in all things possible because of him, and love endures a lot of mess!
I look at faith in my ability to believe that I had to hold on when all seemed lost, hope in the impossible, that is truth now, and love that he has shown me that i thought I could get from this earth!
Faith is a word with many meanings. it can mean faithfulness, it could mean absolute trust as shown by some of the people who came to Jesus for healing, or it can mean confident hope.
I take the words faith, hope love and look at it like a triangle-
Faith is the foundation of God's message, hope is that attitude, and love is the action. When faith and hope are there, you are free to love completely because you understand how God loved.
Ill give an example.
1 Thessalonians 5:8 it reads “But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet”.
All three of these are needed to fight the fight that we need to in this life.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
