Pier Park, The Community skatepark

As you arrive at Pier Park Skatepark skating down the ledge enhanced sidewalk, you can feel the community and culture that thrives and exudes at the park. Newcomers are welcomed and encouraged, and should not be intimidated by the expert skaters which frequent the park. Each skatepark has a local group of skaters, which call the park home. These skaters generally stick to their respective home turf, but heavily influence the scene and the vibe of the skatepark. Pier Park is no exception to this, and the locals are what make Pier Park such a community inclusive, and friendly park. Moreover, the friendly aspect of the community combined with the design of the park provide a scene which professionals, and semi professionals frequent often.
