Glenhaven

The best of street and transition

Glenhaven is a friendly, community involving skatepark in Northeast Portland situated beside Madison High School. The park is a blend of skateboarding street and transition skateboarding environments. A street influenced side of the park is contrasted by a 4 foot bowl and a 9 foot pool to form a cohesive park which is inclusive to different styles of skateboarders. Glenhaven embodies community and fun in an inviting atmosphere of excitement. While skatepark etiquette is paramount in all skateparks, Glenhaven is a stark contrast to the intimidating environment which Burnside exudes. With a location by a high school, Glenhaven is often crowded, especially with teens, but the offers an inviting atmosphere for anyone, but especially intermediate to expert skaters.
