Continuous flowing transitions



Gabriel skatepark is an infinite flowing transition skatepark in the same family as Burnside. The park is designed to be utilized as one continuous feature, but has a few various zones which can be utilized as singular or separate skate features. Gabriel exists between between the intimidating Burnside and the openness of Pier Park or Glenhaven. Respect towards locals and skatepark etiquette is important to a successful skate outing at Gabriel. While the locals are intimidating, once dialogue is created, the skaters are reasonable, encouraging and enjoyable. Breaking down these barriers is important at most parks, but at Gabriel it behove visitors to break the intimidation barriers, creating an enjoyable experience.







The skatepark is 10,000 sq ft, featuring 8,000 sq ft of snake run and 2,000 sq ft of unique perimeter features including a wall ride, pump bumps, tranny trench, and vert tranny to slappy curb. The snake run includes a 9-ft-deep bowl with concrete coping and tractor seat; the midsection has three hips and a rolled lip design.
