Whitsundays Day Tour
The waters of the Whitsundays are most enjoyed by tropical fish, turtles, coral and the human species. Because of this, and the little fact that I live here, I will offer camping suggestions beginning in the Whitsundays and extending out to eventually cover most of coastal Queensland. Reefstar will stop at Southern Whitehaven Beach Whitsundays day tour where guests can take the time to relax on the cool, soft sands, swim in the warm, clear waters or walk along the unbroken and beautiful shores. Again, drinks are sold on board but you can bring your own also. You can opt for the adventurous ‘acrobatics’ option (which I did - not for the faint-hearted), but you could choose a simple scenic flight over Whitehaven and beyond. The highlight of the day, however, was snorkelling over the reef. All the campsites in town where booked up so we settled for a campsite in a place called Tewantin which is 15minutes from the main beach. Along the way we stop at a small town called Childers where we get the chance to enjoy some exotic fruits and do some wine tasting and learn about the local wines. Weather forecasts still called for very strong winds, and rough seas. It is one of the most varied and exciting days on offer. View: It’s the view you’ve probably seen in pictures - crystal clear and pristine water and white sand beaches. Our family actually gave a few little gasps of absolute joy as we rounded the point into Whitehaven Bay and they took their first look at the seven kilometer long white sand beach.
