Matthew Bora, the hot, up-and-coming Director and Actor from the NY/NJ Metro area, working his way to top in Hollywood.
Growing up, Matthew was initially interested in professional sports careers like; Pro Football, Boxing and Mixed Martial arts. He started at a young,age boxing out of Lou Costello's gym in Paterson NJ, training with Burns and Diego. He also trained for 6 months in the Catskills NY camp where Mike Tyson trained, it was there he got to meet trainer Kevin Rooney and Mike Tyson and learned the Cus D' Amato style techniques of Boxing. Matthew never lost a fight, winning all of his bouts as an amateur, until a shoulder injury in the Golden Gloves forced him to quit.
A try-out for the Dallas Cowboys Pro Team was unsuccessful,due to a knee injury that occurred one week before the start of camp he opted out and then began to work for his father in the construction business, managing a fleet of equipment, trucks, backhoes, bulldozers and business experience, until his dad died at a young age of 48.
Matthew got out of the business and decided to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming an actor-director and to make movies with a passion and drive he has. Matthew believes to leave an artistic legacy behind something to be remembered for very long time and feels art is an important part of any life & culture. With a positive outlook on life, he has succeeded knowing his dad is watching somewhere, guiding him. His mother and step dad also has been an inspiration and they have always been there for him.
