My product is off to kind of a slow start in ISM this week, but luckily I have some events coming up soon to get things rolling! On Friday, I'll be seeing Screenplay with my mentor and some of her past interns! It'll be very interesting to get to interact with Vanessa outside of her office, and to see how her and her past interns interact. It'll also be incredibly beneficial for me to meet them and ask them questions about college and their internships. I have no doubt that Vanessa will bring up everything I've done in ISM so far. Maybe they will have some input on my product that will give me another point of view! I did some research on empathy last week, and it was super cool to find bits of my past research in some of the points being made in the articles about empathy. The benefits of encouragement over praise keep popping up in articles I read, so I decided that I want to make that a main point in one of my videos. These next couple of weeks I will have to just keep researching and writing down all of my ideas until I'm able to piece something cohesive together. Luckily, my obstacle for this product is having too much information rather than not enough.
