Sound waves is an abstract expressionist piece in which I wanted experiment with colour and mixed emotions. Like sound waves I tried to blend and mix the sounds by sliding different colors of paint. I blew air through straws, splattered paint, and dragged a toothpick across some colours to add interest. This was an interesting experiment that allowed me to play with what appeared like sound waves.
