Project PAUSE is partnering with businesses that offer the public the opportunity to pause; to momentarily suspend time by enjoying in an activity that rejuvenates them, so they return to their daily responsibilities feeling refreshed.
For example, some locals get PAUSED as they indulge in a warm beverage at the Golden Pear, unwind with a book at the Rogers Memorial Library, or slow down to see a production at the Southampton Cultural Center.
Additionally, Project PAUSE is working to collaborate with the Town of Southampton to include Project PAUSE in this year’s Mental Health Awareness lineup of events, because pausing and mental wellness are highly correlated.
Community members can participate further in the creative process by enrolling in a free dance workshop (June 3), audition to perform in PAUSE (June 7), attend an open rehearsal (August 30) , and/or partake in the final exhibit, dance performance, and Q&A (September 23).
Project PAUSE encourages local business, residents, and visitors to be more active within the Village of Southampton by engaging in the art of dance making.
Project PAUSE looks forward to collaborating with you!
