This week marks the end of my ISM journey! Final Presentation Night is Thursday, and my preparations are mostly finished. Not much work has been done this week except for preparing my materials to present my work- ensuring that my portfolio is complete, rearranging my board, tweaking my powerpoint, etc. I also reached out to Leah to schedule one last mentor visit, just to get any input she may have on my final product, wrap up the year, and tie up any lose ends.

It's hard to believe that my time in ISM has come to a close! It seems like yesterday that my mom drove me to my first interview at the Dallas Morning News and I was sweating through my suit from nervousness. I can say in all honesty that this program has done more to develop me as a person and prepare me for the real world than anything else I have ever been a part of. I want to thank Coach Goff for being such an incredible leader and role model through my 2 years in ISM, and for being my biggest cheerleader and support system. I couldn't have done it without you! I also want to thank both of my ISM mentors- Staci Parks and Leah Davies- for providing me with opportunities for learning and real-world exposure that most kids don't get until after college. You both hold a special place in my heart, and I won't lose touch, I promise!
