Interviews with local government and university representatives will be recorded and subsequently transcribed. The transcripts will be entered into NVIVO, a qualitative data analysis software that allows the researchers to ‘code’ relevant sections of the interview to be used as data points. These codes will help us determine what information gathered in a given interview, or from a primary source document, is relevant to our research questions:
Research Question 1: How do university and city collaborations most effectively further renewable energy infrastructure and reduce community-wide scope 3 emissions?
Research Question 2: What best practice facilitation methods lead to more synergistic collaboration?
