Jessica works at a Toronto based not-for profit, that focuses on enhancing public education in Canada by providing experiential learning opportunities to students from K-12. Specifically, she works on a series of programs that bridge the gap between business and education, ensuring students have opportunities to explore real career options, in order to make the school to work transition as smooth as possible.
Jessica received her B.A from Ryerson in Early Childhood Studies and spent several years working at daycares, early years centres, schools and as a private childcare provider. Jessica made the transition into the not-for profit industry in 2013, and spent two years at Free The Children as an Educational Programming Coordinator, supporting educators as they integrated social justice based programs into their existing curriculum. Jessica is currently pursuing a M.Ed in Social Justice Education at OISE, and it set to graduate Fall 2016.
