ITP 1ST SEMESTER FINAL PROJECT
At the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU, where I am currently pursuing my Masters degree, I partnered with Nicolas Escarpentier to create an interactive experience mixing Computational Media and Physical Computing as our Fall 2017 Final Semester project. The project was selected to participate in the 2017 ITP Winter Show.
THE BRIEF
From the background of working in feminist groups and organizations, we wanted to create a Final Project that was able to tell the stories of different personal testimonies and experiences of sexism towards women, revisiting the concept rose by Carol Hanisch and the New York Radical Women movement in the late 60s/early 70s in the essay "Personal is Political".
MY ROLE
This project was developed in partnership with Nicolas Escarpentier. We both designed, coded and fabricated it.
TECHS
Three.js, WebVR, node.js, websockets, Arduino (MKR1000).
