ONLINE, $45 for 2 2hr classes
You may register to do the class online. For online classes you will need:
1. SUPPLIES. Regardless which class and medium you choose, you will need a support (i.e watercolour paper, canvas, canvas board, gessoed wood panel, mixed media paper, etc.), and three primaries (i.e. Quinacridone red, Phthalo blue, Cadmium yellow), plus black and white. These primary colours are preferred however not essential. You will need paper towels, a palette to mix your paint on, and an assortment of large and small brush sizes, and/or palette knives (you can improvise with a old credit card etc.). Old, rough brushes are great for texture. The idea is to relax on the supply list and make due with what you have. If you are local, supply kits are available in our Bowness studio.
For oil you will need linseed oil and/or mineral spirits to thin your paint
For acrylic you will need a water dish and a spray bottle
For watercolour you will need a water dish and spray bottle
2. A SCREEN. Desktop computer screen, laptop or tablet setup nearby. Ensure your portable device is plugged in.
