Danny Ariza is a photographic artist based in Manchester and is currently in the final year of a BA(Hons) Photography at Manchester Metropolitan University. He predominantly draws inspiration for his work through his love for the scientific and the ability that science has, to transform what we consider to be photographic. Stepping away from the more traditional methods of photography his work explores what the photograph can become outside of the camera, and what this means to photography. During his time at university he has participated in several group exhibitions as part of the course, but has taken a major role in the presentation and organisation of these events. Danny is currently working on a project that explores the image archives held by NASA, in particular the images that make up the Lunar archives from the Apollo Missions.
