Hope For The Brave Foundation (H4TB) is a community-based, social entrepreneurship startup, and a 501 (c) (3) organization focused on veterans.


Our mission is to inspire veterans to develop and sustain a personal brand that drives success in post-military careers. We enhance veterans’ quality of life through community events that connect veterans with corporations and experienced business leaders.

Our Story


For years there has been a need for programs and resources to assist military personnel returning to civilian life. Each serviceman has different needs and for some, the transition has been more difficult than for others. We’ve wanted to do something for a while to help support our veterans. More than just a thank you, more than just a one-time event - something actionable that can lead to real, life-changing results over a very long period of time. Unfortunately, in this country, there is more talk about supporting the military and not enough action to support them. We want to change that…. NOW.

Amie Thompson


Vice President and Co-Founder


Business Executive with 15+ years of leadership experience across technology, media, entertainment, and healthcare. Current CEO of a Raleigh based marketing firm with a passion for helping veterans, small business leaders, nonprofit leaders, and recent graduates with their personal branding.
