LOCATION.





Zurich is the largest city in Switzerland. The venue is in the University’s early 20th century main building, overseeing the city center, Lake Zurich and the adjacent mountains.



TOPICS.





The workshop is designed to foster research on the economics of media markets and media policy. Key topics include, but are not limited to:



  • Competition policy applications in media, telecom and digital markets
  • Local and global trade-offs in media and public policy
  • Privacy, search and social networks
  • Media and political accountability
  • Pricing of electronic content, aggregation, intermediaries
